SHIOCTON -- The town of Shiocton celebrating its first ever state football championship title tonight.
Hundreds of fans came out to welcome the state champs home from Madison after defeating Darlington 35-0 for the gold ball at Camp Randall Stadium. Shiocton's head coach says he couldn't be prouder of his players. "It's just a culmination of a lot of hard work. It means a lot. It means a lot to me, but I hope it means more to these kids because they certainly deserve it. They're the ones doing all the work. They're a great football team, great kids," says Dino Heinemeyer, the Chiefs head coach.
This welcome home was a moment the players and their fans aren't likely to forget.
