APPLETON, WI --Protesters who support same sex marriage in Wisconsin, gathered outside the Outagamie County courthouse this morning.
They say they're disappointed in the judges' decision to issue a stay on her ruling that lifted the ban on same-sex marriage in Wisconsin.
They say they're also upset with the Outagamie County clerk for not waiving the five day waiting period for same -sex marriages to become legal. Those who received licenses are asking for their money back.
Some of the protest organizers had weddings for same-sex couples planned at their church today, the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
We spoke with a reverend in Appleton who says he was prepared for ten weddings, but now none of them will be happening.
