HOWARD -- The Brown County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help after they say they have new leads in the February 2012 murder of 43 year-old Thomas Wick.
Wick was found shot to death in the basement of his home in Howard. Deputies announced that their ongoing investigation has uncovered new leads and they're re-examining evidence.
“The sheriff's office has been working on this ever since, trying to bring the perpetrator, or perpetrators to justice,” said Capt. David Konrath with Brown County Sheriff’s Dept.
Konrath said they department is asking for anyone with any information to come forward, and it doesn't matter how big or small the tip is. They want to solidify information, to move the case forward, which will eventually lead to an arrest and prosecution.
“Think about his relationships with other people, anything that might be conclusive for us to investigate,” said Capt. Konrath.
In a statement from the Wick Family, released today, they thank the sheriff's department for their hard work.
"We beg anyone with any information to come forward with anything they may have seen or heard. Even the smallest piece of information may be what is needed to help put the pieces together," read the statement.
