GREEN BAY -- Packers players teaming up with members of the UW Green Bay Phoenix Women's Basketball team for fitness Monday night at the Bellin Health Performance Center.

It's part of the annual Pals Program Fitness Fun Party. Brad Jones, Josh Sitton, Greg Van Roten, Datone Jones, and Casey Hayward spent the evening with over 100 kids, volunteers, and parents from the program. Players with the Green and Gold say they're excited to be a part of it.

"I'm just out here hanging out with the kids, breaking a sweat. I didn't plan on breaking a sweat tonight, but I'm out here getting a sweat with the kids and it's a really good time," says Offensive Guard Sitton.

The Pals Program matches children from low-income, single-parent families with an adult mentor to spend a few hours each week in a recreational or learning activity. Many of the program's participants come from homes that have experienced abuse, neglect, or domestic violence, or have a deceased parent or parent with a disability.
