OCONTO FALLS, WI-- The 4th Annual Little Hearts for Life Corn Roast was held Sunday.
Many people came out to eat sweet corn and listen to music, all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event go towards research on congenital heart defects, which affect about 1 in 100 children each year.
"It's awesome. We are really blessed in our community and I can't say enough about Oconto Falls and our surrounding communities coming out to support us. It's gotten bigger every year only because they come out and support us," said Ginny O'Harrow, Little Hearts for Life President.
All proceeds from the event go to pediatric cardiac research performed at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
