HORTONVILLE, WI- Storm damage estimates grow to 31 million dollars in Outagamie County. Hortonville was one of the hardest hit areas by last week's tornadoes. Village leaders held a meeting allowing the public to express their concerns with the recovery effort. Village leaders deciding how to clean up because they don't have enough resources to cover the area.
"So many trees. So many things that came down. So much brush to handle and we don't have that capacity to do that in our village to do that at this point," says Village President Andrew Gitter.
Village leaders are still warning people of contractors asking them to make sure they are licensed and insured.
