GREEN BAY -- As the team prepares for the practice the field, fans are arriving in Green Bay and checking out everything Training Camp has to offer. And all the visitors mean a big boost for the economy.

“I've seen gift shops, but you can't really call this a gift shop,” said Tom Peralta, visiting Lambeau Field and Pro Shop from Dallas, Texas. “I was blown away by everything I saw.”
No matter what fans are looking for, they're going to find it at the new, 21, 5000 sq. ft. store, doubling the size of the old Pro Shop.
All of those buying up Green and Gold gear are helping the city’s economy.
Between Training Camp and Family Night, thousands will be visiting.
“Those two combined, it's about 90,000 people, we'll be expecting this month, and a $9 dollar impact,” said Brad Toll, President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Traci Powers is visiting Lambeau Field from Beaver Dam, Wis.
“We're big Packers fans,” she said. “And we're excited to be here. It's our first time at Training Camp.”
Powers says there's a bigger excitement for camp, and the season this year, even though there are not as many open practices to the public.
“We don't know if we'll have more people coming to the other practices, I really don't think it'll make a big difference,” said Brad Toll.
So what else is there for fans while visiting for training camp?
“I would suggest a visit to the Neville, the Touchdown Museum,” said Toll.
Fans can also take a Trolley Tour, showcasing the Packers Heritage Trail.
“No other team can do this. No other team has this relationship to their fans,” said Hal Breedlove, visiting from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
