HOWARD -- Dozens of riders hit the road Sunday afternoon, with a goal to raise money and awareness for the prevention of suicide.
This is the 5th year for the ride, which supports the Crisis Center of Family Services. Riders left Gilligan’s Bar in Howard, and made stops through Suamico and Abrams.
"It’s very meaningful because you can never fill that chair that’s empty,” said Jeanne Parrett, who is the ride organizer. “And there are no words to say that the mental illness, that we need to help."
All the proceeds help the center. The organizers hosted raffles, in a way to raise money during the ride.
