MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Two more candidates are expected to enter the race to replace U.S. Rep. Tom Petri.
Republican state Sen. Joe Leibham says he will make an announcement Tuesday afternoon at his home in Sheboygan.
Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris tells Oshkosh Northwestern Media that he also will announce his candidacy Tuesday. Harris will be the first Democrat to enter the race.
Leibham will face state Sen. Glenn Grothman and state Rep. Duey Stroebel in a Republican primary.
Petri announced earlier this month that he won't run for re-election. He has represented the Republican-leaning district that spans eastern and central Wisconsin since 1979.
