  • I was up somewhere near Mountain tonight. Had spent the last 3 hours shooting Aurora all around the area. I figured I'd better head in and get some rest so turned the car toward Shawano. About 10 minutes of relatively calm driving and something caught my eye in the rear view mirror. Naturally I hit a side road and parked. Holy Moly. Pillars of Aurora reaching 60 degrees easily. Wave after wave of green flowing through the formation. Here ya go guys. Enjoy! M. Bubba Blume/Eagle Creek Photo, LLC

  • I'm from Omro, WI and took a last minute drive up to Sturgeon Bay, WI to shoot this photo. I left around 7 and traveled there in about 2 hours. This was shot between 9 and 9:30 PM. My friend Keith and I got there just in time as we only really had a short window of time before the lights simmered down and diminished. What a truly thrilling experience!
