By Stephen L. Betts. CREATED Nov 25, 2013

Scotty McCreery will kick off 2014 with his all-new See You Tonight tour. The trek, which begins Jan. 24 in Ashland, Ky., will include a stop at Nashville's venerable Ryman Auditorium on Feb. 18. The tour is named after the 2011 "American Idol" champ's sophomore album. "See You Tonight," which hit No. 1 on the country albums chart, features the title track, which is currently approaching the Top 20 on the cingles chart.

Five of the tracks on the album were penned by the 20-year-old. "It’s cool to be able to sing the songs for people that I wrote because they came from my heart," he says. "This tour will capture more of who I am than anything I have ever done."

Scotty is nominated for Breakthrough Artist at the American Country Awards, which will air live on FOX Dec. 10. Additional dates for the tour, including some international stops, are expected to be announced. Visit Scotty's website for more.
