  • Hi,We have this lovely night bloom cereus in our front yard that blooms several times during the spring. I have heard so many times that it should only bloom once a year, but ours blooms several times. Today there were 37 blossoms on our two plants but I could only capture a few in this attached photos. I thought you might like to see it and ask your audience if others have Night Blooming Cereus' that bloom several times or if my plant is unique. They are a pleasure and delight. • Went for a hike & took a few pictures in March with my mother & wife (3/22/15). This was what I found in one of the shots. Fortunately, it was still cool enough in March that this snake didn't strike when I stepped next to him. I had to kneel down for the picture. I was very lucky to have not been bitten. I was wearing sun glasses & didn't see anything in the shadows. Saw your story about the snake bite & figured this might help illustrate the story better. Tim Curry, Tucson, Az. Office tim curry

  • Fallen Lyrid I went out to shoot the Lyrid meteor shower early this morning, and was treated with one of the most beautiful shooting stars I've ever seen. It was as if a flare was set off and a fireball fell from heaven - I could literally see the fragments of the meteor peeling off as it descended. And I'm so happy I was exposing my camera in that exact direction when witnessing this beautiful site. I hope you like it! :) Cheers Location:Tucson, Arizona, USA Canon 5D mkIII | 24mm | f2.8 | 20" | ISO 6400 | Single Image Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop Prints for sale in the "Astrophotography / Night" folder: prints.dylanmartinphoto.com Dylan Martin Photography
