Today's Outlook

Slight Chance For Showers Ahead Of Holiday

There's a chance for a few scattered showers today across the Ozarks.  People traveling for the holiday weekend need to stay alert for road closures from flooding this week.  Tonight, there's a 20% chance for showers and thunderstorms.

For Independence Day, the National Weather Service says the rain chances have diminished, leaving us with partly cloudy skies and a high around 83.  The low Saturday night is 67.

Thunderstorm chances will ramp up again from the west late Saturday night through Sunday, and into at least the middle of next week.  The National Weather Service says this means locally heavy rain will be possible at time.  There are renewed flooding concerns next week and heat index will top 95 at times next week.
