Periods Of Rain With Heavy Downpours

Bands of rain with heavy downpours will continue in the Ozarks this evening, tonight and Wednesday.

A flash flood watch is in effect for all of the Ozarks through Wednesday evening.

A slow-moving front will cause several rounds of rain to develop and move through the Ozarks today and Wednesday.

Areas of the Ozarks may pick up an additional 1-3 inches of rain with locally higher totals.

The front starts to clear out on Thursday and by the weekend, drier and hotter conditions will settle into the Ozarks.
