MSSU Football Coach Identified As Movie Theater Shooting Victim

An update to a story we've been following involving a man being killed in a parking lot outside of a movie theater in Joplin that victim has been identified by police.
Joplin Police say Derek Moore, who was an assistant coach with Missouri Southern State University, was shot and killed Friday night. Investigators say Jeffery Bruner is being held on a murder charge. Authorities say it's a targeted shooting and not a random act.
University officials say in wake of the tragedy today's homecoming festivities have been canceled and their game against Lindenwood has been postponed.
Moore was 37 and leaves behind a 6 year-old son.
