Long Lasting Cooler Pattern

Upper Level Winds Wednesday Morning

Long Lasting Cooler Pattern

By "Tornado Ted" Keller. CREATED Oct 16, 2013

Get set to stay cool through the end of October!  Cooler weather will be around for the next several weeks.  I even see our first chance of frost late next week.

Tuesday's cool front cooled us down for the rest of this week. The general flow of air aloft is turning more to the northwest over times and this will allow several shots of cooler air to come down into the Ozarks.

The next cool shot is Friday night with another one Monday.  Each of these will be accompanied by a rain shower chance.  It looks damp in the Ozarks Friday evening.

The weekend looks nice but cool. I think upper 30's are most likely Sunday morning.

Now, beyond the seven-day forecast, it appears quite chilly late next week.  This will include the first possible frost for the Ozarks.  Temperatures will be in frost zone by the middle of next week but the winds will lighten up by the end of the week which will make frost more likely.

Be sure to look at my "Weather Report" video update this morning!
