Christmas Comes Early To Three Elementary Schools In Greene County
Three Greene County schools are getting an early Christmas from the James River Church. A spokesman for the church says they've been working with schools for 14 years and target the program based off the number of kids in the free or reduced lunches.
He says they like to get kids fun gifts and give back to the entire community. The gift giving kicks off Monday at Schofield in Republic, Pershing and finished up Wednesday at Westport in Springfield.
