Man Who Busted Out Of Arkansas Jail May Be In Dallas County

Law enforcement officers in Dallas County will be busy overnight, searching for a man who broke out of jail in Arkansas. The Sheriff's Office says the search for Derrick Glenn Estell is centered around the Long Lane and rural Buffalo areas. He may be with his girlfriend, Tamara Lynn Upshaw. If you see either one, you're asked to call 911.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has received information from Arkansas law enforcement officials of the likelihood of escapee, Derrick Glenn Estell (33 years of age, 6ft, 165 lbs, brown hair or bald, brown eyes, white male) being in the area of rural Buffalo and Long Lane along the Niangua River.

Estell is believed to be in the company of a girlfriend, Tamara Lynn Upshaw (25 years of age, 5 ft 1 inch, 121 lbs, white female, brown hair, green eyes).

Estell is an escapee from the Garland County, Arkansas Jail on 07-28-2013. Arkansas law enforcement officials have advised to consider Estell to be armed and extremely dangerous.

Estell is facing charges of aggravated robbery, burglary, theft and other charges.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching the area for Estell and requests any sighting be reported by calling 911. Do not try and approach them.
