If Justin Moore was still in school, he would look forward to going to history class. Justin says he loves reading about history. “I don’t know if I would consider myself a history buff,” he says, “but I am a huge, huge fan of history, and I think that came from my grandma growin’ up. She was always kind of a history nut and I spent a lot of time, obviously, with her and my grandpa.” One advantage to touring all over the country is that Justin can sometimes get out and actually see some of the historical sites he enjoys. He says, “Anytime we’re in a city or a state where significant events occurred, I usually try to get out and take full advantage of checkin’ things out.”
You can set your watch by the release of Toby Keith's annual albums. Right on time, he will be releasing a new album "sometime this fall, as usual, we have an album coming out,” Toby says. “ We have landed on a single. It’s called ‘35 Mile An Hour Town.' [It] should be shipping [to radio] pretty quick, then the album will come later in the fall, early winter.” Because Toby owns his own record label, he can put out music on his own schedule. But he won't tour to support the new album until high school football season is over. He is known as "Coach" to his son’s high school football team.

From the TMI department: Rascal Flatts members say they are prone to getting heartburn, and Jay DeMarcus admits they all take Nexium 24-hour for relief. Jay tells ABC News it gives him the freedom to live life and not worry about what they are eating on the road. Jay reports that he and bandmates Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney favor pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers while on the road. He says they also sometimes seek some relief after hitting the vodka a little too hard after a concert. We're not sure Nexium can really help with that!
