Embracing Project helps build unity among young people
The Embracing Project describes itself as a nonprofit organization formed in 2007 to help build unity among young people from around the world who have suffered from violence, using their experiences as a way to heal each other.
TEP provides youth with the tools to understand that every person in the world is equal, regardless of their race, ethnicity, color, neighborhood, faith, culture, gender or sexual orientation.
TEP serves survivors of sex trafficking and youth involved in gangs to teach them the similarities between gangs and genocide. TEP provides both groups the opportunity to be in service and participate in humanitarian projects that TEP has Liberia.
