The Clark County Museum will feature a new "Curator's Choice" exhibit offering an eclectic sampling of the more than one million items that are part of its collection.

The exhibit will take place through Jan. 31 and will include items such as a pistol owned by Roxie Clippenger, who operated an illegal brothel on Boulder Highway until the 1950s.

The exhibit contains more than 150 items hand-picked by long-time curator Dawna Jolliff for their craftsmanship, uniqueness and relevance to the history of Southern Nevada.

The Clark County Museum, located at 1830 South Boulder Highway, is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
