Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A lot of our teens are gearing up for college right now and wondering how they're going to pay for it.
Ronald McDonald House Charities has a scholarship program. More than 100 local kids are benefiting, making Las Vegas a better place to live.
Valedictorian Cesar Gonzalez earned a $2,000 scholarship from Ronald McDonald House Charities.
To date, the scholarship program has awarded more than $3 million to local students like Cesar. To get it, he wrote a moving essay about growing up with a single mom.
If you're heading in to your senior year of high school, now is the time to start looking for scholarship opportunities.
The charity will begin accepting applications for the next round of graduates in September.
