Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- This Labor Day, there are a lot of college students who are excited to labor; they just want to land a job.
The Las Vegas Business Academy is helping make that happen.
Matt Sheahan is a UNLV student and the latest recipient of a scholarship from the Las Vegas Business Academy. The academy will cover up to $75,000 of his master's degree.
Every month, Sheahan interns at a different business. In addition, the scholarship includes five full years of mentoring.
Rino Armeni founded the academy, which looks for students who can be leaders.
"If their GPA is 3.5 or 3.3, it doesn't make a difference. At the end of the day, it's what's up here and in here. What you want to make of yourself," Armeni explained.
The application process is open right now, if you're looking to pursue law, business or hospitality degrees.
