Local nurses volunteer time during National Nurses Week
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- In celebration of National Nurses Week, the nurses of HealthCare Partners Nevada rolled up their sleeves this week and gave back to the community.
The group of nurses headed to Brady Industries for a special community service project benefiting Safe Nest women's and children's shelter.
The nurses prepared 1,000 hygiene kits and donated clothes, highchairs and a variety of other items to the residents of Safe Nest.
During the event, the nurses also enjoyed breakfast and HealthCare partners recognized their head nursing staff for their hard work and dedication. The employees also took turns sharing inspiring stories about their careers.
HealthCare Partners Nevada is a network of approximately 290 primary care providers and more than 1,700 specialists operating out of nearly 100 clinics and office throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Pahrump, Boulder City and Mesquite.
The company and its employees participate in several projects throughout the year to help the people of Southern Nevada.
