Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Top local leaders are shaking off the nerves. About 20 of them jumped from the top of the Stratosphere on Friday, and it was all for a good cause.
They're raising money for Scoutreach, a program that delivers the Boy Scout program to 2,000 culturally diverse kids in the valley.
Leaders from North Las Vegas, Southwest Gas, Las Vegas police, Realty ONE Group, 97.1 The Point and many others joined in the annual event.
Each jumper collected at least $855 in pledges; $1 for every foot above the Las Vegas Strip they jumped.
The Scoutreach program helps youth develop life-skills and values, that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
