Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort remains open for summer activities
The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort remains open for the summer season and is unaffected by the Mount Charleston flooding.
The resort offers activities like scenic chairlift rides, hiking, disc golf and mountain biking on the nearby Bristlecone Trail.
The area is open Friday through Sunday including The Bighorn Grill and Bristlecone Bar. Guests can enjoy lunch or drinks on the patio complete with tailgating games like cornhole and Giant Jenga.
LVSSR is also used as a high-altitude training ground for many athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
The activities will continue through Sept. 1.
Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Chairlift Rides: $10 adults, $5 children 6-12, free for children under 5
- Disc Golf (includes chairlift ride, 2 discs rental, and course map): $17
- Disc Golf Season Pass (non-transferable): $50
- 2014/15 season pass holders ride for free, excluding special event days
