UPDATE: Authorities say that the two men accused of stealing a SUV and crashed into a fruit stand have been arrested. Three children were killed and two other people injured. The woman who owned the SUV was also injured. Police say that one man turned himself in and gave them enough information to find the other suspect.The suspects' identities have not yet been released.
The children have been identified as 15-year-old Keiearra Williams. 10-year-old Thomas Reed and 7-year-old Terrence Moore. The 34-year-old mother was identified as Keisha Williams.
The search is on tonight in Philadelphia after three children were killed Friday morning because of a carjacking and a crash.
The three kids and their mother were helping sell fruit to raise money for their parish when the incident occurred.
Police say that a stolen SUV's tire blew as it was trying to make a turn at a high rate of speed.
The SUV crashed into the fruit stand, killing the children. Their 34-year-old mother is currently in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, according to FOX News. Two boys, ages 7 and 10, and a 15-year-old girl were killed.
Two people inside of the stolen SUV took off running. The woman who owned the SUV was found in the back seat. She was also hospitalized.
In addition, a 65-year-old woman who was helping at the fruit stand was also injured.
The family's church group held a fundraiser every week to raise money for a parish effort to turn a corner lot into a playground.
There is currently a $110,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two suspects.
