Male body builder cries 'sexism' after being dismissed from his gym
Brad Cieslowski, 29, exercised at Novi Lifetime Fitness center in Florida on Jan. 11, followed by a dip in the hot tub. And then he was asked to leave.
"The lifeguard comes up to me and he says, 'You need to change into something more appropriate, that is not appropriate,'" Cieslowski told Fox 2. "He said, 'we can all see it.' And I said, 'well then stop staring, no one is making you look at it.'"
Talking about "the bulge," Cieslowski says he was wearing his square-cut white Speedo, and it wasn't the first time.
Cieslowski left after being threatened by the facility that they would call the police. He feels his experience as a male regular was "incredibly sexist" while he claims fellow women gym-goers are "showing off every nook and cranny of their body."
Novi Lifetime Fitness said that they are a proud family establishment and "have a two-layer house code. In this instance, multiple members registered concerns rooted in discomfort," further reported Fox 2.
Cieslowski intends to return to the fitness center, now introduced to the policy.
