Memorial Day Weekend got off to a rocky start in Las Vegas after an alleged physical altercation between boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris.
According to TMZ, T.I. took a swing at Mayweather, which resulted in a chair-throwing brawl early Sunday morning at a Fatburger restaurant located on the Las Vegas Strip.
MTV.com says the fight happened after T.I.'s wife Tameka "Tiny'"Cottle posted a photograph of herself and the boxer's daughter to her Instagram account.
There was already tension between the couple after she posted a photo of herself with Mayweather back in March.
T.I. was said to have become upset about the latest photo, and confronted Mayweather at the restaurant. That's when things took a turn for the worse.
Las Vegas police confirm that they received a call about an assault and battery with a deadly weapon at the location around 1:51 a.m. However, neither party pressed charges in the incident, and local police did not identify who was involved in the altercation.
Police are currently conducting an investigation.
