Sienna Golf Club helps Project Teddy

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- On Saturday, grab your clubs and tee off to help kids with cancer have a little fun. All proceeds go to Project Teddy.

Project Teddy volunteers take stuffed animals to kids undergoing cancer treatments. The kids wish upon a heart, stuff it inside the bear, sew it up and pick out an outfit.

It's brief distraction from their disease. But the bears aren't cheap and Project Teddy is expanding it's services. So Sienna Golf club offered to hand over proceeds from it's annual Big Cup Halloween Tournament.

Doug Chalmers with Sienna Golf says, "We call it the big cup tournament because the average cup is 4 inches but that day we're moving it to 8 inches. Project teddy people will be out there dressed in costume. It's a great day benefiting cancer patients."

Golfers are invited to dress in costume. All proceeds benefit Project Teddy. Click here for more information.
