Sexual assault suspect arrested after two-year investigation

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police have arrested a sexual assault suspect following a two-year investigation.

On Sept. 11, police arrested 17-year-old Sinder Holmes on several felony warrants stemming from a sexual assault case.

Holmes was certified as an adult and formally indicted on Nov. 4 on charges of kidnapping with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, battery with intent to commit sexual assault, conspiracy to commit sexual assault and six counts of sexual assault with a deadly weapon.

The investigation began in September 2011 when a victim reported she was sexually assaulted by two unknown men near Spring Mountain Road and South Las Vegas Boulevard.

As a result of the investigation, detectives identified 25-year-old Matthew Goin as the second suspect in this case. He remains outstanding and is currently wanted on charges related to this investigation.
