Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Rescue crews are planning another search operation on the Sheep Mountain for a 47-year-old Las Vegas man.
This comes after a search of a mine shaft in the area came up empty.
Fire crews sent a camera down the mine shaft Sunday after Red Rock Search and Rescue volunteers found Kenny Veach's cellphone nearby Saturday.
Crews say they saw no signs of the hiker at the bottom of the mine shaft, and are refocusing their search operations.
Veach was last seen on Nov. 10 when he left for a camping trip in the area. He was planning a two-day solo trip.
When he didn't return home his family became worried.
"My biggest thought is he probably hurt himself and he is stuck, just waiting," Victoria Veach said.
Red Rock Search and Rescue is now organizing another search of the area in the near future.
