Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police were on the scene of a robbery at a local grocery store early Wednesday morning.
Two people allegedly robbed Smith's located at Charleston and Hualapai.
Police said the two suspects armed with handguns forced three employees at the front of the store onto the ground.
One suspect watched those workers, while the other suspect went to the gaming area and robbed the cashier.
"One of the suspects proceeded to the gaming area where he robbed the gaming clerk of about $250 to $500 cash," Lt. David Gordon said.
The suspects are described as either two black men or a black man and black woman in their 20's. They were last seen on foot.
There were no reported injuries.
"That's very shocking," one customer said. "I always feel very secure over here."
"I'm shocked to hear that, especially at Smith's," another shopper echoed.
This isn't the first time a Smith's has been the target of a crime. Just last month, the store on Sahara and Durango was robbed and the suspects also went for the cash at the gaming area.
Police said they'll look into whether the two thefts are related.
