Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police detectives are asking for the public's help identifying and locating burglary suspects.

On Oct. 22, detectives arrested 49-year-old Norman Cook of Las Vegas and charged him with multiple counts of burglary and obtaining money or property under false pretenses.

Cook was arrested while pawning property taken in a recent residential burglary.

Detectives believe this crime is part of a string of similar occurrences which have occurred in the northwest part of Las Vegas.

Detectives believe at least four individuals are involved in this series of residential burglaries and as a result of the ongoing investigation, have obtained photos of two of the outstanding suspects.

They are described as black adult males, 20-30 years of age, standing between 5'6" and 6'1" and have average builds with one suspect having long hair worn in either braids or dreadlocks.

The physical description and photograph of the fourth suspect has not yet been obtained.

Detectives believe the suspects arrive in a neighborhood in the early morning hours as residents are leaving for their daily routines. After identifying homes which the suspects believe have no one inside, one of the suspects will then knock on the doors. If there is no response, he will then gain entry into the residence either through an unlocked door or window, or by forcibly breaking into the home.

Items typically stolen include cash, jewelry, electronics and firearms.

Anyone with information about the identity or location of these suspects, or any information about these crimes, is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
