Nevada wins lawsuit regarding pipes used in water, sewer systems
Carson City, NV (KTNV) -- A company is accused of fraud and it may have put lives at risk.
The State of Nevada took on the world's largest PVC pipe manufacturing company and won.
Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto said J-M Manufacturing knowingly made and sold shoddy PVC.
The State of Nevada has spent millions to replace fairly new J-M water pipes that failed.
Now the company is ordered to pay, as of right now, an undetermined amount of damages to Nevada.
