Las Vegas soldier shot at Fort Hood invited to White House
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas soldier shot at Fort Hood and his family have been invited to the White House.
The President and First Lady invited Private Deon Joseph and his family to visit after he is feeling better.
31-year-old Joseph is now in a rehab center after surgery to remove a bullet from his neck. Hopes are that he will be breathing on his own soon.
His brother told Action News the family met President Obama and his wife during last week's memorial service.
