Hearing continues for Nellis airman accused of killing infant son
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nellis airman accused of killing his 3-month-old son is back in court.
The preliminary hearing for Andrew Leach has been pushed back. Leach will be back in court on Sept. 29 for a status check, pending autopsy results.
He told police he dropped his son during bath time, but doctors said the injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome. The baby died two weeks later.
According to the report, Leach said he suffers from PTSD, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, alcohol and chemical dependency and depression.
Leach was later arrested for child abuse with substantial bodily harm.
