Gov. Sandoval proclaims September as National Preparedness Month

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Gov. Brian Sandoval has proclaimed September as National Preparedness Month in Nevada.
Officials are encouraging Nevadans to make sure they're ready if disaster strikes. That means being able to be self-reliant for at least three days.
National Preparedness Month will be the focus of the First Tuesday Meeting being held by Las Vegas police.
In addition, Clark County Fire is planning events all month long.
