Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- New details into the case surrounding the local man, who police say, confessed to killing his wife because she wanted a divorce.
40-year-old Richard Dahan appeared confused on Wednesday in court. The judge decided to delay his hearing until Thursday since Dahan needs an interpreter.
Several of Daisy Dahan's co-workers were in court. They told Action News they're shocked at what happened to their friend.
Elizabeth Fisher said they had feared Dahan was in a dangerously abusive marriage before she was killed, "We just want this to be out there, so we can help other women that are in this kind of situation and know there is help out there. They don't have to be afraid."
Daisy's friends are holding a memorial service in her honor this Friday at Life Care Center of Las Vegas, where Daisy worked. It's being held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Life Care Center is located at 6151 Vegas Drive. For more information, call Safe Fath United at (702) 685-1500.
A donation account has also been set up to help raise money to send her body back to the Philippines, so she can be buried near her family.
