Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police were called to a crash Saturday night involving five vehicles.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Rainbow Boulevard just south of Twain Avenue.
Las Vegas police said a Dodge Ram truck, driven by 33-year-old Cornelio Vasquez of Las Vegas, was traveling northbound on Rainbow, approaching Twain, when he side-swiped the right rear side of a Dodge Durango. Vasquez then struck the rear of a Land Rover.
A Chevrolet Suburban Limousine, carrying 12 passengers, was on Rainbow crossing Twain. A Honda Accord was also on Rainbow traveling next to the limo.
Cornelio continued over the raised center median into the path of the limo. The front of the limo then struck Cornelio's truck.
The truck then rolled onto the driver's side as it continued across Rainbow in front of the path of the Honda Accord. The front of the Honda Accord struck the underside of the Dodge Ram.
After the impact, the Honda Accord ran off the side of the road and onto the sidewalk.
Cornelio's truck then rotated clockwise as it continued onto the sidewalk and into the face of a block wall. It rebounded off the wall and came to a stop.
At some point during the collision, Cornelio was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
Several other occupants were transported to the hospital for minor to moderate injuries.
Police said alcohol may have been a factor in this collision.
