Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Feb. 10 is the 33 year anniversary of the deadly fire at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Eight people died during the fire and 200 others were injured.
It took almost 500 firefighters to control the flames and evacuate guests.
Phillip Cline was sentenced to eight life terms without parole for setting the blaze.
The Hilton fire, along with the even more deadly MGM Grand fire three months earlier, prompted major changes to safety codes for hotels and other buildings.
