Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Action News is remembering Joan Rivers, who passed away Thursday morning at the age of 81.
Rivers brought her unique brand of controversial comedy to the world for nearly 50 years.
Las Vegas Strip headliner and star of Divas Las Vegas, Frank Marino, stopped by Action News to talk about the passing of his dear friend.
Marino has starred as Joan Rivers in Las Vegas for many years.

In addition, Marino dedicated his Thursday night performance of Divas to Rivers.
The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas will honor Rivers with a pictorial retrospective on the Viva Vision canopy.
The tribute will take place on Sept. 4, immediately following the 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Viva Vision shows.
In the past, Fremont Street Experience has paid tribute to Nelson Mandela, Whitney Houston, Dick Clark, Tony Curtis, Jackie Gaughan, Danny Gans, Robert Goulet, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor.
