Coroner: Former Clark County prosecutor committed suicide
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner has released the cause of death for the former Clark County prosecutor who was found dead in July.
The coroner said 49-year-old David Schubert died from an overdose of numerous drugs, and his death was ruled a suicide.
Schubert became known after he prosecuted drug cases against celebrities including Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars.
He was a Clark County deputy district attorney in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police found Schubert in the garage of his home on the 8400 block of Cambrils Avenue on July 17.
Schubert has two young children who live in Idaho.
