Mohave Valley, AZ (KTNV) -- A Mohave Valley man was arrested Friday for negligent homicide and two counts of child abuse.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, a report was received that two juveniles had possibly overdosed on an illegal substance at a residence on South Emerald River.
The juveniles were brought into a walk-in clinic in Bullhead City on Sept. 21 and one had to be airlifted to University Medical Center. That juvenile later died.
That same day, 31-year-old Richard Allan Falstad told deputies that he had driven the juveniles to the clinic.
On Sept. 27, MCSO detectives executed a search warrant on the South Emerald River residence. Evidence obtained during the search supported charges against Falstad.
Falstad was stopped near his residence and taken into custody without incident. He has been booked into the Mohave County Jail.
