Aides expected to be questioned in Bridgegate scandal

New Jersey (KTNV) -- The troubled waters are rising around New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. The Bridgegate scandal is intensifying.

He may face a new political hurdle as early as Monday.

Two of Christie's aides at the center of Bridgegate may be served to legislative subpoenas.

Lawmakers are looking for answers.

They want documents and testimony related to the closing of lanes on the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, which caused a massive four-day traffic jam last September.

There is no evidence that Christie was involved but emails reveal that his own aides may have been responsible for the closures as part of political payback against the mayor of Fort Lee.

Some lawmakers are even pushing for a criminal investigation.

The big question is who among Christie's inner circle knew what happened and when.
