Boulder City, NV (KTNV) -- The body of an adult male was recovered from Lake Mead on Wednesday in the area where a Chicago man went missing.

The Clark County Medical Examiner is in the process of verifying his identity.

National Park Service volunteers located the body floating on the surface of the lake near Castle Reef around 8:40 a.m.

Park rangers recovered the body.

On June 20, witnesses said 35-year-old Istvan Tibor Feichtner disappeared underwater near Painter's Cove and Castle Reef after he went for a swim.

They said he struggled in the high waves and was not wearing a life jacket.

Multiple searches have been conducted in the water since Feichtner went missing.
