Street closures for City of Las Vegas holiday celebrations

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Street closures for the fireworks celebration and 4th of July parade have been announced by the City of Las Vegas.

- No street closures for Cashman Field fireworks.

- For the Summerlin Parade on July 4, from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hill Pointe is closed from Hills Center to Lake Mead, Hill Center is closed from Hill Pointe to Village Center Circle, Village Center Circle is closed from Hills Center Drive to Town Center Drive, Trailwood Drive is closed from Village Center Circle to Springate Lane.

- For The Smith Center, Symphony Park will be closed between City Parkway and Grand Central Parkway all day on July 4.

"Stars Stripes & Sparks" at Knickerbocker Park in Providence
July 4 from 6-9:30 p.m.

This is a community event in the Providence master-planned community. Lane closures on Shaumber Road between Centennial Parkway and Egan Crest and restricted parking on Brighton Village between Dorrell Lane and Grinnell Avenue from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Hill Pointe and Hills Center Drive
Residents are invited to show their colors at the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade. This time-honored tradition allows friends, family and neighbors to gather for an old-fashioned hometown parade through the streets of Summerlin.

The Smith Center at Symphony Park, 361 Symphony Park Avenue
The Las Vegas Philharmonic will throw a Fourth of July extravaganza at The Smith Center. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. at Reynolds Hall. Music will be piped outside to those watching the fireworks in Symphony Park, adjacent to The Smith Center.
