Comedian Louie Anderson headed to downtown Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Louie Anderson is diving back into comedy with a new show at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas.
His new show will begin July 10 and he will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturdays. Tickets will be $59.95 for general admission and $101.95 for VIP seating and a meet and greet.
Anderson just completed competing on ABC's celebrity diving series "Splash."
Prior to "Splash" and the Plaza, Anderson performed in his own show at Palace Station for several years.
Anderson made his national television debut on "The Tonight Show" in 1984. He has also appeared in "Coming to America" with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall; created and produced an animated series titled "Life With Louie;" served as host for the new version of "Family Feud;" appeared in an episode of "The Weakest Link;" and made several guest appearances on a variety of television shows.
Anderson has also written several books and recently finished writing "The F Word, How to Survive Your Family." He also recently starred in his own stand-up special "Big Baby Boomer" on CMT.
