Storm brings rain, hail through parts of the Valley
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A spring storm brought hail and rain through parts of the Las Vegas Valley on Tuesday.
While isolated storms hit some parts of the area on Monday, the harsh weather was more widespread on Tuesday. Winds lingered in the 10-20 mile per hour range.
As the storm system moves east across Southern Nevada, rains are expected to subside by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
The storm front brought cooler temperatures, with highs in the 70s on Tuesday and the same expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
Sunny skies will return Friday with highs reaching the low 90s before the weekend gets even warmer.
Triple-digit temperatures are expected to hit next Monday and Tuesday in Las Vegas.
