Plane crashes near Henderson Executive Airport
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- A small, single-engine plane crashed on Volunteer Boulevard in Henderson.
It happened just after 4 p.m. Sunday about a quarter-mile away from the Henderson Executive Airport.
Henderson Fire Department said the plane took off and then circled back around when it crashed.
The plane came to a stop on Volunteer Boulevard.
Henderson Fire said there were no injuries reported as a result of the crash.
Fuel that was still in the plane's engine was a safety concern for rescue workers. They blocked off a large portion of the road, near Anthem Parkways, while crews cleaned up.
Action News was told that is no longer a hazard.
It's unclear how many people were on board or where the plane was headed.
